What does the March of Dimes do?
The March of Dimes provides research funding and support to families that are facing the birth of a premature baby, a baby with birth defects and infant mortality. This year, as a result of budget cuts and decreased fundraising the March of Dimes had to cut $3 million in research grants.

Recently, we made the difficult decision to cut $3 million in research grants — funding that was urgently needed to develop new treatments for babies born too soon or with birth defects. We planned to bring NICU Family Support® to 20 new hospitals in 2009. Now, I fear we won't meet this goal. This program, which provides much-needed information and comfort to parents with a baby in newborn intensive care, is now in jeopardy.

Please help support this amazing cause and prevent any more cuts. I know that money is tight for almost all of us right now, but we need to remember there are always people worse off than us and almost everyone can donate something small. And as we know lots of small things can add up to something big! Lets go save some babies!!! :)
